Pip is our American Kestrel Ambassador. As a fledgling, he struck a window and was then caught by a cat. After arriving at PWC, his wing was pinned, but he is unable to fly well enough to hunt or survive in the wild. Now 9 years old, he helps people learn about the smallest falcon in North America.
Fun fact: Although they may look like tiny hawks, falcons like Pip are actually more closely related to parrots.
