Alice is one of our Great Horned Owl Ambassadors. She fell from her nest as a baby and broke her humerus, an injury that was repaired by a veterinarian but left her unable to hunt or live independently. She later came to PWC as an ambassador and has spent years helping our community learn about owls. She is now 24 years old.
Fun fact: Like most raptors, female Great Horned Owls are typically larger than males.
