Charlotte is one of our Tarantula Ambassadors. She is a 13-year-old Chilean Rose Tarantula and a new PWC ambassador this year. Born in captivity, she is not a candidate for life in the wild. Charlotte will help educate the community about tarantula species and their behavior.
Fun fact: Tarantulas in San Luis Obispo County are mostly nocturnal hunters, relying on vibrations to detect prey near their burrows.
